Dromantine resumes…

The arrival of Covid-19 in March of last year forced the closure of our Dromantine Retreat and Conference Centre near Newry, Co Down. Many Retreats and Conferences were cancelled and, despite several attempts to resume, it has proved impossible to do so (complying with government regulations).

Thankfully, the time has come to resume ‘normal‘ services with a limited number of events! And, due to Covid-19, we are unable to accommodate the usual number who attend our Retreats, seminars etc. The first retreat, with 25 participants, took place earlier this month, led by Fr Joe McGee, MSC.

From now until Christmas, Fr Damian Bresnahan and the SMA team, have a programme of events planned for those who want to take ‘time out’ and enjoy the beautiful place that is Dromantine.

Among the planned events

Weekend Retreat for our SMA supporters (10 – 12 September)
Transformation Retreat with Dr Noel Bradley DD (15 – 17 October)
Workshop with Fr Hugh Lagan (18 – 21 October) – Finding the joy, purpose and happiness you deserve.
Dealing with grief – Fr Brendan McManus SJ and Mr Jim Deeds (one day event, 6 November)
Advent Retreat with the Rev Ruth Patterson (3 – 5 December)
