Good Friday Reflection

The feet that danced
At Cana’s wedding feast,
Are now held down,
Are pierced.

The hands that held
When sinking Peter failed,
Are stretched across the wood,
Are nailed.

  The voice that called
Dead Lazarus from his grave,
Is failing in his throat,
Has failed.
