Spiritual Year Calavi has a blog!

The SMA International Spiritual Year at Centre Brésillac, Calavi in Benin Republic now have their own bilingual blog. Check it out by clicking here.

Soyoye Basil Bight-of-BeninFr Basil Soyoye, Superior of the Spiritual Year, launched the Blog some time ago and now the students add their blogs to it on different topics.

At present there are 21 seminarians doing their 9 month Spiritual Year programme in the Centre named after our Founder, Bishop Melchior de Marion Brésillac.

They come from Benin, Kenya, Poland and Tanzania (1 student each); two students come from each of the following: DR Congo, India and Togo; Central African Republic has three seminarians and both the Ivory Coast and Nigeria have four students each.

There are five priests on the Formation staff: Basil Soyoye (Bight of Benin DF, Nigeria, who is the Superior); Raja Lourdusamy (Indian DF), James Shimbala (Great Lakes DF, Tanzania), Pierre Garreau (Lyons Province) and Wilfried Kouijzer (Dutch Province).
