Cois Tine’s next training programme will take place during October and November 2011. It will consist of eight three hour training sessions on a range  of topics. Participants may attend all or just one of the sessions – our intention is to provide training relevant to the lives and work of individual participants.  This training is free of charge.

The objective of the programme is to support staff from main-stream service providers by building their capacity to communicate and engage with people from other cultures particularly those who originally come to Ireland through the asylum process. The training will, by improving understanding and awareness, help to create an enhanced inter-cultural sensitivity that will lead to improved service provision benefitting both the organisations concerned and immigrant service users. Ultimately we hope that this training will contribute to a more cohesive and integrated community.
