LITURGICAL SEASONS
There are several seasons during the Liturgical Year: Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter. For the other Sundays of the year we celebrate Ordinary Time.

As Christians – followers of Christ through our Baptism – we are called on to make Christ present in our own lives and in the lives of others. As we read the Sacred Scripture during the different seasons of the Liturgical Year may we pray in our hearts:

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love.

During this season – and mindful of the COVID-19 virus spreading throughout the world – this is an opportunity for every single person on the planet to examine how they live their life, how they interact with others – for good or for bad – and what each of us must do to ensure that we do nothing to bring harm to our world. We must be healers of a broken world.
